# Add Users to a Workgroup

The workgroup administrator adds users to a workgroup. A workgroup can contain an unlimited number of users.

1. Select Settings from the Account drop-down list.
2. On the Settings page, select Account, and then select Manage Workgroups. The Workgroup Admin Console opens.
3. Select a workgroup in the Dashboard.
4. Select Users.
5. Select Invite.
6. In the Invite new user dialog box, enter the email addresses for the users you want to add. Enter one address per line or as a comma-separated list.
7. Select the BaseSpace Sequence Hub drop-down list, and then select the access level.
   * No Access—The user does not have access to the workgroup.
   * Has Access—The user has access to the workgroup. This is the default selection.
8. \[Optional] Select the access level for regional instances or other products available to the workgroup.
9. Select Grant access.

The invited user receives an email invitation and a dashboard notification. Email Illumina Technical Support to revoke an invitation to someone who is not a registered user of BaseSpace Sequence Hub.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.connected.illumina.com/basespace/collaborate/manage-workgroups/add-users-to-workgroup.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
