# Samples for Substrate CSV

The Illumina Spatial Image Tool (ISIT) exports a Samples for Substrate CSV file that can be used in BSSH Run Planning. At the end of the ISIT workflow, there is an option to export directly to the cloud and/or export locally to then select during run planning. If cloud export is selected, this CSV may be used for Run Planning. Refer to Section 3 of the [Run Planning](/dragen-stratamap/dragen-spatial-transcriptome/run-setup/run-planning.md) section of this guide for more details.

The Samples for Substrate CSV contains important sample information that allows for sample and file tracking.

The file contains the following sample information for the substrate processed with ISIT:

* Sample ID
* Filename (of the OME-TIFF)
* URN (of the OME-TIFF in ICA)
* Substrate ID
