#### Slide ID (required)

The Slide ID is located on the package label (SN) and etched on the slide. It must be entered exactly as shown. This field is critical for downstream analysis. A **View example** link is available for reference.

{% hint style="info" %}
The Spatial Imaging Assessment Slide provided for the **Imaging Assessment** may not have a slide ID. A slide ID is not required for the Imaging Assessment, so enter another identifier, such as `1234`.
{% endhint %}

#### Confirm Slide ID (required)

The Slide ID must be entered a second time for confirmation. Both entries are compared to detect typos.

{% hint style="warning" %}
The slide ID is critical to downstream secondary analysis steps. Failure to input the correct slide ID will result in delayed results.
{% endhint %}

#### Slide Reference (optional)

An optional field for adding a personal reference or description. Accepts numbers, letters, hyphens, and underscores. Maximum length is 100 characters (e.g., TissueBlockID\_Exp01).

#### Image Files (required)

Select one or more image files for processing. Multiple files can be selected at once. It is recommended to analyze all samples from one slide at the same time.

{% hint style="info" %}
Only stitched images are accepted at this time.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.connected.illumina.com/dragen-stratamap/illumina-spatial-image-tool/image-processing/load-images.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
