Export Sample Files

The Export sample files screen is the final step in the image processing workflow. This screen is used to configure export destinations and save processed sample files for downstream analysis.

Export to Cloud and Local

Exporting to the Cloud allows for a seamless experience where the output from Illumina StrataMap Image Tool is directly uploaded to BaseSpace Sequence Hub and Illumina BioInsight Platform Core UI.

Exporting to Local allows the user to save the output from Illumina StrataMap Image Tool to a local path on their machine. The user can then navigate to BaseSpace Sequence Hub and Illumina BioInsight Platform Core UI to upload the saved outputs.

To export ISIT outputs:

1. Select Local and/or Cloud as the target.
2. Click Login, enter your credentials, and choose your domain.
3. Upon successful login, complete the following steps:

   1. Select the cloud location URL (https://basespace.illumina.com) from the dropdown.
   2. Select the Workgroup.
   3. Select the Project from the respective dropdown list.
   4. In the Folder field, the default is the substrate ID.
   5. Click the Export button in the bottom right.
4. After you click Export, a progress dialog will appear indicating the progress of both the OME-TIFF generation and upload to the Cloud.
5. Upon completion, the software will provide direct links to the outputs in:

   1. BaseSpace Sequence Hub
   2. Illumina BioInsight Platform Core UI
   3. Local folder
6. Navigating to the links provided will bring the user directly to the page where the uploaded files can be viewed.

Export to cloud times may vary depending on network activity and upload speed. Ensure a stable network connection during upload.
