Every run is licensed. The applicable model is **DRAGEN Pricing** or **Legacy Gigabase Pricing**, depending on your DRAGEN version and where you run it. | Pricing Model | Description | | ----------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Legacy Gigabase Pricing | Prepaid gigabase license for on-prem and BYOL, and the per-Gb model on Platform Core for DRAGEN v4.5 and earlier. | | DRAGEN Pricing | Introduced in DRAGEN v4.6. On DRAGEN v4.5 and earlier, every deployment uses Legacy Gigabase Pricing. Software Mode requires DRAGEN v4.6 or later. Licenses installed on a DRAGEN Server, and legacy Cloud FPGA BYOL credentials, meter against a separate prepaid gigabase quota that is not BioInsight Credits. ### DRAGEN onboard Illumina sequencing instruments DRAGEN for selected applications on supported sequencing instruments is included with the instrument and is not metered. This covers the [NovaSeq X Series](https://www.illumina.com/systems/sequencing-platforms/novaseq-x-plus/products-services/software.html), [MiSeq i100 Series](https://www.illumina.com/systems/sequencing-platforms/miseq-i100/products-services/software.html), and [NextSeq 1000/2000 Systems](https://www.illumina.com/systems/sequencing-platforms/nextseq-1000-2000/products-services.html). ## Run information collected Run information is a key component of the DRAGEN connected licensing infrastructure.
