emedgene aims to simplify the process of sharing cases among healthcare organizations, while ensuring that patient privacy and consent are respected.
The Network allows users to review tagged variants from other organizations within their network(s). The Related Cases section on the Variant page displays shared case data that is relevant to the variant being reviewed.
Level of sharing of a particular case with a particular network of collaborators is defined by:
One organization may participate in multiple networks under different terms.
Networks are being managed by the network admin in Settings > Network.
Here the dedicated network manager can:
Create networks and set data sharing policy for each network;
Leave or delete networks.
As of 32.0, to invite other organizations to their network(s), the network manager must reach out to techsupport@illumina.com.
