Filtering panel

Filtering tools

The Filtering panel provides tools for narrowing variants during case review: filters, presets, and preset groups. Each supports a different level of the filtering workflow:

  • A filter is a single condition applied to the variant list, such as a quality threshold, allele frequency range, or variant effect category.

  • A preset is a reusable combination of filter conditions that represents a specific analytical or biological scenario. Presets allow analysts to reapply a predefined filtering strategy without rebuilding the filter set for each case.

  • A preset group is a list of filter-based presets used together as a filtering workflow.

Presets and preset groups help standardize analysis according to laboratory SOPs and speed up variant interpretation.

Filtering panel

The Filtering panel includes the following components:

  • Variant search box: Apply search terms on top of active filters or presets to find specific variants in a case.

  • Filters tab: Apply dynamic filters to refine the variant list during analysis.

  • Presets tab: Apply predefined filter combinations that reflect your laboratory’s SOPs.

  • Custom tab: View case-specific preset groups created by refining the preset group during case review.
