Using presets from a custom preset group in case review

The Custom tab lets you work with presets from a custom preset group in the current case.

Here you can:

Selecting a preset group

Select a custom preset group to load its presets in the Custom tab.

In the Filtering panel, go to the Custom tab.

Open the dropdown menu on top of the tab.

Select the name of the custom preset group you want to apply.

Result: The selected custom preset group is applied. The preset list and variant results update accordingly.

Applying a preset

Presets let you filter variants without manually setting conditions.

To apply a preset from a custom preset group:

In the Filtering panel, go to the Custom tab.

Select the name of the preset you want to apply.

Result: The variant list updates according to the preset’s filtering conditions.

Viewing preset logic

You can expand a preset to see exactly which filtering logic it applies.

To inspect preset logic:

In the Filtering panel, go to the Custom tab.

The tab displays a list of presets included in the currently selected custom preset group.

Select the expand icon (angle-right) next to a preset name to view its filtering conditions.

Click on the collapse icon (chevron-down) to close.

Result: The filtering conditions included in the preset are listed.

Refinement filters saved as part of the selected custom preset group appear at the top of the Custom tab. These filters intersect with each preset’s saved logic.

Marking a preset as reviewed

Marking presets as reviewed helps teams coordinate and avoid duplicate work.

To mark a preset:

In the Filtering panel, go to the Custom tab.

Select the checkbox next to the preset name.

Result: The preset is marked as reviewed. This marking is visible to all analysts working on the case. Presets marked as reviewed can still be revisited at any time.
