Creating a custom preset group

Learn how to create a custom preset group for repeated use within the current case. A custom preset group is a refined version of a preset group used in a case — it includes presets from the original preset group with intersecting filters.

Preset groups are originally created and managed in Lab workflow settings.

Creating a custom preset group

1

In a case, open the Filtering panel and select the Presets tab.

2

Apply refinement filters through variant search.

Variant search filters narrow down the results of each preset in the applied preset group. Refining a preset group does not change the saved logic of the presets that belong to the group.

3

Select the actions menu (ellipsis-vertical) in the upper-left corner, then select Save as custom preset group.

4

Enter a name for the preset group in the dialog.

5

Select Save.

Result: The custom preset group appears in the Custom tab and can be applied within the current case.
