# Open in Curate

You can open an existing **Curate** record from the **Variant page** in **Analyze**.

## How to open a variant in Curate

Open the **Variant page** in **Analyze**.

Select the open option in the top bar.

From the **Curate actions** dropdown, select **Open**.

Select **Open Curate**.

If the **Open** action is unavailable, confirm that the variant already exists in **Curate** and that your permissions allow access.
