Adding a gene to Curate

To add a gene in, use manual entry in Curate. Follow the instructions below.

How to add a gene in Curate

Open Curate Genes.

In the navigation panel, select the Add new button (+ symbol).

Search for the gene using its symbol, NCBI ID, or HGNC ID.

Select Add.

Result:

• Gene is added to Curate.
• The Curate Gene page opens, where you can view detailed information, manage curated interpretations and notes, review transcripts and gene-level metrics, and explore related diseases and variants.
