# Gene Information card

## **Card contents**

The **Gene Information card** on the [**Curate Gene page**](/emedgene/emedgene-curate-manual/curate_genes_2_28/curate_gene_page.md) shows key gene details.

The **Gene Information card** features:

* Official full gene name approved by the HGNC
* Alias symbols
* Location relative to GRCh37 and GRCh38 (with links to UCSC Genome Browser)
* Gene type
* Gene family
