# Interpretation card

## Card contents

The **Interpretation card** on the [**Curate Gene page**](/emedgene/emedgene-curate-manual/curate_genes_2_28/curate_gene_page.md) lets you view and manage curated interpretation text and draft notes for the gene.

The **Interpretation card** features:

* The **Curated tab**: Finalized interpretation of the gene.\
  You can reuse this text in the [**Variant Interpretation notes**](/emedgene/emedgene-analyze-manual/variant_page/evidence_section.md) within a case.
* The **Note** **tab**: Draft notes about the gene.

## How to edit interpretation text

In the **Interpretation card**, select the **Curated** or **Note** tab.

Select **Edit** (<i class="fa-pencil">:pencil:</i>).

Update the text. Apply formatting as needed.

Select **Save**.

**Result:** The curated or draft interpretation is saved.
