Activities panel

Logged activities

The Activities panel on the Curate Variant page records changes made to a variant over time.

The panel logs updates to:

• Pathogenicity
• Variant interpretation
• Note
• Gene-related disease
• Selected transcript
• Curation status (v100.41.0+)
• ACMG classification (small variants only):

  • Overall classification
  • Tag activation or deactivation
  • Tag strength
  • Tag notes
  • Answers to tag questions

Each entry* shows the previous and updated values. Select More to view Variant interpretation and Note entries in a separate window.

*ACMG tag note and question-answer changes are exceptions. They appear as the general update: “Variant ACMG tags were updated.”

How to open the Activities panel

On the Curate Variant page, hover over the pointer icon () on the right.

Select Activities.

Result: The Activities panel opens and shows the activity history for the selected variant.
