Edit, Remove, and Archive Assertions

Edit My Knowledge Base assertions at any time. You can also remove or archive assertions when interpreting a variant.

Edit Assertion

  1. In the assertion form, select Edit Assertion.

  2. Edit the following fields, as applicable:

    • Direction

    • HRD

    • Classification

    • Summary

    • Notes

    • Role

    • Phase

    • External Link

    • Location

  3. After the information is added, select Save & Add to Report.

Remove Assertion

❗ If an assertion added through automation is removed, it is not automatically added to the same report again. Removed assertions are not displayed in the case. The assertion is still in the knowledge base and can be recreated.

  1. In the Variants tab, find the applicable variant and select Interpret.

  2. In the Assertion pane, select Remove from report.

  3. When prompted, select Yes, remove. A message displays indicating that the assertion has been removed from the report.

Archive Assertion

Only users with Lab Director (Connected Insights - Cloud and Connected Insights - Local) or Administrator (Connected Insights - Local only) role can archive assertions.

  1. In the Variants tab, find the applicable variant and select Interpret.

  2. In the Actions column for the assertion, select..., and then select Archive.

  3. When prompted, select Yes, Archive.
