Software Release Notes
This page contains the release notes for the current release. See the subpages for historic release notes.
On December 20, 2025, AWS will be retiring the F1 instances, referred to in this guide as FPGA. By November 1st, 2025 support of F1 (FPGA) instances will be decommissioned in ICA to ensure timely switchover. New versions of existing DRAGEN workflows have been created to support F2 (FPGA2) instances. Please consult the DRAGEN BSSH/ICA end of life roadmap for more information on switching over.
Please migrate to F2 for improved capacity and performance with up to 40% reduced turnaround time for analysis.

Fixed Issues
General
Added resiliency to bundle linking to externally-managed projects
General bug fixes
Flow
It is no longer possible to replace the sample sheet from the ICA GUI during an externally-managed workflow rerun as this resulted in incorrect values being used.
Fixed issues associated with metadata copying over for rerunning analyses
Fixed issue with saving XML configuration updates in the UI
For numeric fields it is possible to use a “From options list” parameter to specify options for this value field. However, these values were not used if they were specified during analysis initiation – instead the default value was used. This has been fixed.
Base
Added support to abort “Prepare Data” jobs that get stuck in the “Creation Pending” state.
Exporting data from a query to a new table now correctly shows the data size in the new table.
Fixed an issue which caused the prepare data step to fail with the error "Failed to access remote file: access denied. Please check your credentials" when adding json.gz files to a table.
Bench
Fixed an issue where default storage size would default to PB instead of GB when deselecting and selecting "include ephemeral storage".
